FAQS

Adele Burnett Harpist

What music do you play?

Adele has an ever-expanding repertoire of classical, folk, pop, Disney and Christmas music. She is happy to tailor the music she plays to suit your preferences or simply to play what feels appropriate on the day.

Can you play my favourite song?

Many pop songs can be arranged for the harp. If you would like Adele to play a favourite song just let her know and we can discuss its suitability for the harp and how it would sound. Please give Adele 6 weeks' notice prior to the event so that she can source and arrange the music as required.

Can you play outside?

I can play outdoors but there are some weather conditions that would make it unsuitable; I would not be able to play outside in the rain, cold or very hot conditions or in direct hot sunlight. It may therefore be a decision to be taken on the day of the event. I also cannot place the harp or other equipment on, or transport the harp through, wet or dirty flooring.

Can the harp be positioned anywhere?

The harp is a bulky instrument and requires a trolley to move. In most circumstances I can take the harp wherever there is disabled access. I also need to avoid locating the harp too close to sources of heat.

How long does it take you to set up?

The harp requires unpacking from its covers and tuning. I therefore need at least an hour to set up.

How much do you charge?

Costs depend on how long you would like me to play and the location of the event. Please get in touch for an informal chat and a quotation.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I ask for a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure a booking.
